Where it is
The Domain is a large mixed-use district in North Austin, near MoPac (Loop 1) and Braker Lane, with Burnet Road on its eastern side. The surrounding area, often called North Burnet or Uptown, has become one of the city’s biggest centers of new apartment construction and office space.

Getting around
North Austin is well connected by MoPac, US 183, and Parmer Lane, with routes north toward Round Rock and Cedar Park. The MetroRail Red Line runs through the area, and CapMetro has been adding rail stations near The Domain and Q2 Stadium. Check CapMetro for current station openings and schedules. MoPac and US 183 can be congested at peak hours.

- Parking: many Domain-area buildings charge separately for reserved or garage parking.
- Event traffic: living close to the stadium or the shopping district can mean busier streets on game days and weekends.
- Commute tests: if you’ll commute downtown, compare driving, rail, and bus before you commit.
